These Stainless Steel taps will not corrode or oxidize in acidic or high ethanol environments as brass taps might do.

LOUIS DEREK NELL Bought 12 of these, perfect replacement for the brass taps - those brass ones are not ideal for long term maturation purposes, react with the spirits and wines.
Replaced all of mine, needed a 15mm wood drill (sharp one to avoid cask damage), bit of plumbers tape, all done in a jiffy.
Other stainless taps/spouts have a smaller thread than the brass ones and are not suitable. These ones are the right choice.
