Description

These Stainless Steel taps will not corrode or oxidise in acidic or high ethanol envoronments as brass taps might do.

Product specifications: 

  • 90 degree open/close handle
  • 35mm threaded shaft x 16mm (5/8 inch) thread
  • comes complete with washers, sealing plate, nut and strainer

Perfect for long term Mini-Cask maturation

Bought 12 of these, perfect replacement for the brass taps - those brass ones are not ideal for long term maturation purposes, react with the spirits and wines.
Replaced all of mine, needed a 15mm wood drill (sharp one to avoid cask damage), bit of plumbers tape, all done in a jiffy.
Other stainless taps/spouts have a smaller thread than the brass ones and are not suitable. These ones are the right choice.
