A Hands-On Craft Gin Workshop
Step into the world of small-batch gin production with this focused, practical gin-making workshop. The Gin Xperience is a 3-hour immersive session designed to introduce you to two distinctive craft gin production techniques — blending creativity with structured process understanding.
This is not a lecture. It’s a guided, hands-on gin experience.
What You’ll Explore
During the session, you’ll work through two core methods used in craft gin production:
1. Botanical Maceration (Bathtub Gin Method)
Each participant receives:
- An infusion jar
- A curated botanical selection from our Xperimental range
You’ll learn:
- How maceration extracts flavour
- Botanical balance and layering
- Colour development in amber-style gin
- Managing infusion time for optimal profile
You’ll begin your infusion during the workshop and take it home to complete.
2. Vapour Infusion (Distilled Gin Technique)
Working in pairs, you’ll formulate and produce a vapour-infused gin using small-scale distillation equipment.
You’ll explore:
- Botanical selection strategy
- Vapour extraction vs maceration differences
- Aroma development
- Flavour structure and refinement
This component introduces the technical logic behind modern craft gin production — without overwhelming complexity.
