Product description:

Soxhlet extraction is a widely used laboratory extraction technique for efficiently extracting compounds from solid samples such as plant materials.  This method involves a continuous cycle of solvent percolation through a sample placed in a thimble, with the solvent collecting in a siphon-like extractor flask. The cycle is repeated until the solvent becomes saturated with the extracted compounds, promoting maximum extraction efficiency.
