This is perfect for me to brew my fruit wines & vinegars
As mentiomed previously, the plastic screw lid feels dodgy, and the seal is also suspect. I havent tested its air-tightness yet though. Might upgrade my rating once i've fully tested it. Great service from Distillique.
You guys rock! As always, awesome customer service & the fastest delivery. These carboys are of a high quality & makes mead making efficient & mess-free. The large opening makes it easy to clean & the lid fits perfectly. A 5lt demijohn airlock bungs fit snugly into the small hole in the lid so that a normal fermentation lock can be used. They are also great for storing & aging a beverage before bottling. I have the 19 & 23 liter ones & will definitely be purchasing more. Thank you.
The glass is of a high quality, with no imperfections. The screw on lid has room for improvement.
I bought the 5 and 8 liter carboy, small enough to carry without the provided carry harness.
