Date Liqueur Recipe

Ingredients:
- 500g pitted dates
- 750ml neutral spirit (vodka or grain alcohol)
- 250ml Invert Sugar
Instructions:
- Place the pitted dates in a clean glass jar or container.
- Pour the neutral spirit over the dates, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for 5 days to allow the dates to infuse into the spirit.
- After 5 days, strain the infused spirit through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the dates.
- Add the sugar syrup (Invert Sugar) to the infused date spirit and stir to combine.
- Transfer the liqueur to a clean glass bottle or jar for storage.
- Seal the bottle tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for at least 1 week to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Enjoy your homemade date liqueur on its own, over ice, or use it in cocktails and desserts for a deliciously sweet and fruity flavor.
