The glass vigreux column is a extension pipe with a 34/35 socket, this column can be used to increase the purity of your distilled product, when inserted on top of the boiling flask, the rising vapors with be forced to condense on the glass spurs in the column, this forces the spirit/solvent to get refluxed therefore ncreasing the distillates purity.
