Product description:
A medium S/Steel filter cartridge to use in the Tandem Filter Housing with a 5, 10 or 50 micron filtration rating.
Please note:
- It is advisable to filter liquids that require a lot of filtration first through a course filter, then the medium and lastly the fine filter. This will speed up the bottle filling process quite a lot. Tandem filters can be linked in series to perform all three filtrations inline with the filler.
- Stainless Steel Filter Cartridges are recommended to filter oil, liqueurs, syrups, fruit juices, and other sugary or alcoholic products
- Can also be used with hot (i.e. 65C) liquids.
Filter Cartridge cleaning Instruction
Cleaning your filter cartage is important to prevent to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria that can negatively affect the quality of your product.
Stainless-steel cartridge
- Prepare a 5% solution of citric by dissolving 50 grams of acid in 1L warm water.
- Soak the stainless-steel cartage in the solution for 5 – 10 minutes.
- Use a soft bristle brush to lightly scrub the outside of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the filtering net.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow to dry. Do not store in a closed container.
