Yeast nutrients are essential to provide yeast with minerals vitamins and other nutrients to support yeast growth and activity during fermentation. This special Distillique blend consists out of inorganic nitrogen (allow for the fast release of nitrogen for immediate use by the yeast) and organic nitrogen (allows for a slower release of nitrogen that will only be available during the later stages of fermentation).
Fermentations without added yeast nutrients will run the risk of becoming slow and will eventually lead to a stuck fermentation - especially in the case of sugar washes.
Dosage:
- use 1 grams of yeast nutrients per liter of wash
