Small Distillery Research project: University of Stellenbosch.

Respondents are required for a research study regarding the current state of the craft spirits industry in South Africa by the University of Stellenbosch.

Mrs Susan Mia Kruger, a researcher from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, is looking for respondents to complete an online survey regarding the current state of the craft spirits industry.

The purpose of the research is to identify the most sustainable business model for a craft distilling business, started as part of a farm diversification strategy, in the Western Cape.

To be able to formulate such a business model, Mrs Kruger finds it important to first understand the current state of the craft spirits industry as a whole and as such, she is calling on all commercial craft distillers in South Africa to complete an online survey.

As a show of good faith, and as a way to promote the sharing of knowledge between producers in the craft spirits industry in South Africa, Mrs Kruger will make the results of the study available to any respondent who wishes to receive further communication in this regard.

The following letter from the University of Stellenbosch serves as a short introduction to survey, and provides confirmation that the survey forms part of a bona fide research study at the University.

If you are satisfied with the purpose and intent of the study and would like to participate, please follow the SURVEY link below:
